Busy weekend...

I started my new massage thearpy job on Friday. I worked Friday night and Sunday afternoon. I did 5 massages, which included two 90 minute massages and I got to do my very first couples massage...which was superfun!!! The time went by so fast during the couples massage. After working there 2 days, I am really hopeful that I am going to like it and that it's going to work out well.

My cousins, Derick and Dilyne, were in town visiting this weekend so I got to hang out with them on Saturday. They are both loads of fun and of course, it's always good to see them. Soon Derick will be living down here full time and hopefully Dilyne will get to come visit us often.




We are planning on going home to Kirksville next weekend and on Saturday night there is going to be a reunion of old friends at my parent's house. It should be a fun time.

Happy Valentines Day!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Valentines Day. We're staying in this Valentines Day. We have some steaks that we're going to cook and we'll probably watch a movie later too. We have a 3 day weekend because of President's Day so we're really looking forward to relaxing.

I will be starting my new massage therapy job on Friday the 20th. I had Orientation last Thursday night. There was lots of paperwork to fill out and then we had to go over Massage Envy's policies and procedures. We also got a tour of the place learning where all of the linens, lotions, creams, and other misc. supplies are located. I am very anxious to get started this Friday.

New Massage Therapy Job!

I got a new Massage Therapy job!! I am going to be a massage therapist at Massage Envy down on the Country Club Plaza! I am super excited to get started there. I still have orientation to go through next week and will begin after that. To learn more about my new company visit http://www.massageenvy.com/. They have several locations around the Kansas City metro. I wanted to stay on the Missouri side since I'm already licensed in Missouri. If I worked on the Kansas side I would have to go through Kansas licensing requirements.

Welcome Back!

Lori and Mike came back from Michigan this weekend. Lori had been up there the entire month of January. Mike flew back to Michigan on Sunday and Lori will be staying here for awhile. We all got together on Saturday night...it was good to see them! We ate at Dixon's Famous Chili. They were extremely busy and we had to wait a long time for our food, however, we ended up getting free food!! The manager came over to our table (we hadn't even said anything) and apologized for our wait and told us that the food would be on them. So it ended up working out in our favor!

We are watching Six Feet Under and we have one more DVD to watch to complete the series. I am extremely excited to see the series finale! After we finish Six Feet Under, we are going to start watching Arrested Development. I have seen some of the shows before and it is extremly hilarious, so we're going to start at the beginning and watch them all. We have really been enjoying our Netflix account. We rotate between watching movies and TV series.
