The Trio!!!

One of my co-workers, Sandy, who actually works out of the St. Louis office was in town in our office all this week!!! It's always a joy when she gets to come over and see us. We decided to wind down from work tonight by having some delicious appetizers and drinks at Tengo sed Cantina in the Power & Light District. It was great to socialize and converse outside of the office! I love these ladies and have to say that my job is great because I get to work with these 2 ladies everyday!!

Royals vs. Rays

My parents along with Raymond and Ronna came into town on Saturday. Matt, Raymond, Dad, Kevin, and I all went to the Royals game. Mom and Ronna opted for shopping. We had a great time...the weather was absolutely perfect for a ball game!!! Even though the Royals managed to blow the game (surprise, surprise) we still managed to have a good time!! :):) Before the game we ate at 54th Street Bar & Grill that was located next to the hotel where they were staying in Independence.

Girls Lake Trip 2009

Once again the annual Girls Lake Trip was a huge success!! I had to leave early on Saturday so I missed the last night :( but hopefully next year I won't have to. We had a great time. There were 8 girls who joined in the fun. We rented a 3 bedroom house right on the lake on mile marker 7 in Toad Cove right across from the Horny Toad. We rent the same house every year...it is super nice and is in a great location!!

1st Day of Vacation

I am so happy that I was able to spend the first day of my vacation with my mom and my cousin, Rachel. Rachel had been in Kirksville visiting from Florida and my mom brought her to KC to catch her flight today. However, they came down early in order to spend some time with me!! YAY!!

Family Reunion!!

So we literally had an impromptu family reunion tonight!! Ha Ha Ha!! Aunt Donna had a doctor's appointment here in Kansas City for preparation for a heart procedure she is going to have done so a bunch of family was in town. There were 12 family members in attendence. Now this isn't near all of them but it did kind of feel like a reunion! :):):) They were all staying at Derick and Will's house so we ended up grilling over there. It was a fun time and I'm glad we got to see everyone! Ed grilled up some steaks, bratwursts, and some pork burgers...they were all delicious!

Adrian's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Adrian's 1st Birthday today. We had great food and enjoyed seeing everyone. We especially had a delightful time visiting with Lisa, Nana, Madi, and Kylee...they were a hoot!!! We love you guys!!
