The month of May

The month of May has been an extremely busy month. We both have been swamped at work and then, of course, our family and social life keeps us busy. Over the weekend we went to Kirksville to celebrate graduation. I actually have 2 cousins graduating from Kirksville High School this year. Below is a pic of Andy and me from a while ago...I can't believe Andy is graduating and will be off to college. I am extremely proud of him and wish him the best in life and I hope he stays of out trouble!!!! I know I am getting older but he should still be that same little boy I used to babysit all the time...where has the time gone???

Dad bringing the Nova out for a ride!!!

And yes....I got to drive!!!!! Let the fun begin......

Mom and Dad cozy in the back seat....just like old times!!! ha ha ha

Nicholas cleaning the pool....he would have much rather been in the pool but it wasn't quite warm enough for the kids to swim yet.

Lauren, of course, had to check out the water as well. Not that she ever gets in when we swim anyway, but she sure thinks she likes to swim. :):):)
Nicholas and Lauren digging in the dirt....what fun! Lauren was planting flowers and Nick was digging to the other side of the earth.

At the beginning of May, Kevin and I joined his family and participated in the March of Dimes/March for Babies charity walk. It was held down at the KC Power & Light District. It was a gorgeous day for the walk and we had great time while raising money for a great cause. Mike's oldest daughter, Shannon, had Adrian prematurely and he has endured several surgeries and spent a lot of time in the hospital. Shannon became heavily involved with the charity and organized TEAM ADRIAN SCHWEIN.

Here he is....the star of the walk! Adrian and Papa having fun.
