Happy 4th of July!!!!

After our cycling class this morning, Kevin and I went to the Farmer's Market and got fresh green beans, potatoes, and peaches & cream corn that we were pretty excited about. We ended up cooking a pork loin, along with the green beans & potatoes, and the corn. I do have to say it was delicious!!!!

Mike and Lori drove back from Michigan on Friday to be here for the 4th of July celebration. It was pretty low key...we all got together at Scott and Jenny's. I did make my annual flag cake for everyone to enjoy. It was really hard to get into the holiday this year and I think it was because it fell on a Saturday and the bank did not observe it so it really didn't feel like a holiday at all. When you work at a bank you get used to having a day off for ALL holidays!!!
